All You Need to Know about iPhone 15 and Apple Watch Series 9

This month will be remembered by all Apple fans because WWDC23, the Cupertino company’s first big event of the year, was full of great news, like the Vision Pro, its mixed reality glasses.

But even though it was good news that Apple would be releasing a new product since 2015, fans of one of the most important tech companies were left with a sour taste because there was no news about the iPhone 15.

Well, it looks like fans will be able to smile again sooner than they thought. Apple plans to show the world its newest creation next September. At that time, it will not only show the standard and Pro versions of its smartphone, but also other devices that people have been waiting for.

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, who has been able to predict correctly and before anyone else the most important information about Apple’s next products, said that the company plans to release new watches and will give information about its next products. But let’s go in parts.

iPhone 15

Let’s start with the big news: the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. These are two new models that will try to erase the bad press that the iPhone 14 got for not living up to promises.

The rumors about this new model are everywhere, and leaks tell us about the prices, new colors, and processors (faster A17 chip made in a 3-nanometer node), better cameras (there is talk of periscope lens technology for 6x optical zoom), and important changes in the design, such as the silence key being moved to make room for an action button that will let us launch applications and, of course, specifications.

It has been said that the iPhone 15 will have a screen that is 6.1 inches and that the iPhone 15 Plus will have a screen that is 6.7 inches. In the same way, the iPhone 15 Pro will have a 6.1-inch screen and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a 6.7-inch screen. However, the iPhone 15 Pro Max could get a new “Ultra” name this year. We will have to wait until later to find out what it is.

Apple Watch Series 9

Apple puts out its wearables on a plan that works like a watch. And for years, its newest products have come out in the second or third week of September, usually with the new iPhone, and went on sale a week and a half later, so it’s likely that the new Apple Watch Series 9 will be released in September.

Gurman says that Apple won’t fail and will stick to its plan to release “two models of Apple Watch Series 9.” This likely refers to the two sizes of the smartwatch, which are 41 mm and 45 mm.

Few details are known about the new features yet, but it is believed that the new wearables will have a new design with the Ultra model’s Action button, a S9 chip, dual-frequency GPS, and a MicroLED screen.

Apple Watch Ultra – Second generation

Apple changed the Apple Watch environment when it released the Apple Watch Ultra last year. The Apple Watch Ultra is a super-premium version of the regular model, made for people who like to try new things and want more from their smartwatch.

According to the information Gurman leaked, the time has come for us to meet its successor, a next-generation wearable that doesn’t have much information but is expected to come with some new features, such as a new design, more color options, a 2.1-inch micro-LED screen, a more powerful battery, improvements to its navigation features, and new functions.

More Apple announcements in the future

With the release of the iPhone 15, the Apple Watch Series 9, and the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra, Apple is sure to be at the center of attention for a long time. But the people in Cupertino don’t like to be boring, so they are already working on more launches.

Gurman has pointed out the goods that might come in the future:

  • 13-inch MacBook Pro with M3 chip.
  • 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and M3 Max chip.
  • iMac with 24-inch display.
  • iMac with a screen larger than 30 inches.
  • New MacBook Air models.
  • iPad Pro with OLED display.
  • Next-generation iPad Air

Some products are still in the early stages of development, like a third version of the AirPods Pro which wouldn’t come out until 2025 and new home equipment, like smart displays and a new Apple TV with better specs.
