There are no more questions about the iPhone 15 release date now that Apple has shown off its new phones. We know when those smartphones will be available in stores, as well as when Apple will begin accepting preorders for the iPhone 15.

Apple announced four new models at its September 12 product announcement, as previously stated. In addition to the standard iPhone, Apple is developing a 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Plus. Meanwhile, two Pro models are available: the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The latter two devices have received the largest improvements, especially the Pro Max, which now boasts a more advanced telephoto lens. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, on the other hand, receive a number of changes, the majority of which are features introduced to the iPhone 14 Pro models a year ago.

Along with revealing the features of all four variants, Apple also confirmed pricing and a release date. Here’s everything you need to know about getting an iPhone 15, including the price of each variant.

Release of the iPhone 15: When It’s Coming

On September 12, at a special Apple event, the iPhone 15 was announced. Apple claims that the new phones will be on sale on Friday, September 22. According to Apple’s prior iPhone rollout patterns, that is roughly 10 days after the launch event.

It’s important to note that starting on September 22nd, all four iPhone 15 models will be offered. According to some sources, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple’s most expensive phone, was experiencing three to four week production delays. That was not the case, but we assume that there are only a limited number of iPhone 15 Pro Max units available, which may prevent Apple from shipping that model as quickly as its other smartphones.

Ordering an iPhone 15 before September 22 is not necessary. Preorders for the iPhone 15 will start one week prior to its release on September 15, according to Apple.

Following a summer-long beta phase, the full release of iOS 17 is another significant milestone for iPhone owners. Here, Apple also revealed a release date, saying that existing iPhone owners may begin installing iOS 17 on September 18th. iOS 17 will be pre-installed on the iPhone 15 when purchased.

Other than that, costs are same from when the iPhone 14 series debuted. Starting at $799 for the iPhone 15 and $899 for the iPhone 15 Plus, respectively. The price of the iPhone 15 Pro is $999, which is $200 less than the cost of the brand-new iPhone 15 Pro Max.
