How To Match All Types of Sweaters?

The sweater is the basic garment to dress in layers and is not lacking in any wardrobe. The one with the most and the one with the least has a wide collection that groups colors, some prints, and, of course, different necklines. In addition to being comfortable, the sweater is also practical and, perhaps, it is the garment in which we find the greatest variety in any collection, which also allows us to mark our own style.

Nowadays, a jumper is useful in the half-time periods and also in winter. It all depends on the type you choose and what you wear underneath. That is why it is so important to know how to combine it correctly and adapt it to different situations. An appropriate sweater can be your wild card in your wardrobe. In this post, we are going to see how to combine it in any situation.

Crew Neck Sweater

Crew neck sweaters are the most versatile when it comes to styles. The best example for this is Christmas jumpers, perhaps, a navy blue sweater, which does not understand ages, situations, or sizes: it always looks good.

Among the round neck sweaters, in addition to a wide range of plain colors, we will find certain prints, to which this autumn-winter the combinations of plain and printed are added as a trend.

Our recommendation is that, when combining them with the pants, you opt for one of the two garments with a homogeneous and compact color. With this simple rule, it will be very easy for you to get it right.

Turtleneck

Turtlenecks remind us of James Bond and, without a doubt, they transmit style, although sometimes they are not the most comfortable. Among its advantages is also that of stylizing the figure of the wearer, but if you don’t feel comfortable, better run away from them before you end up making multiple folds around the neck.

V-Neck Sweater

These are perhaps the most classic sweaters and, at the same time, the basic ones that never fail. They can be used with a t-shirt or a t-shirt, in addition, and with both, they feel great.

If you choose to wear a t-shirt underneath, you will wear an ideal look for your leisure time and informal moments in which to be comfortable.

A V-neck sweater combined with a shirt, on the other hand, is the perfect combination to go to the office, for example. In this case, you will have to be careful with the neck; since it does not combine that it protrudes from the jersey. The solution is very easy: opt for shirts with a button-down collar or choose a sweater with a fairly closed peak. In any case, it is best not to button the shirt completely.

As for the length, it is a matter of occasion too. In relaxed situations, it can be very good that the shirt protrudes under the sweater with jeans, for example. However, this look may be too casual for other times when you want to convey more formality.

Sweater With Buttons Or Zipper On The Neck

These sweaters are usually the most modern and where we find a greater variety of prints and, above all, thicknesses. Both factors will be decisive when choosing whether to wear a shirt underneath or not and, also, if we combine them, for example, with a nylon vest on top.

In the case of the shirt, the thicker the jersey fabric will fit you better, while perhaps, in that case, the vest will reduce your mobility and you will not feel completely comfortable. Assess the options and, in line with what we mentioned above, be cautious when combining several patterns.

Hoodie

When at first we talked about the origin of the sweater, we said that, after crossing the Atlantic, the sweater became a sweater. The next step was, years later, to cross the pond again, having changed the wool for cotton and turned it into a sweatshirt.

The sweatshirt is, therefore, a sports garment almost by nature. It’s possible to pair their crew neck versions with a shirt, but that won’t detract from their casual nature and so a t-shirt is your ideal companion.

Complete Your Sweater Collection

There are certain sweaters that are always in fashion and in which it is convenient not to skimp on expenses and others that are simply the temptation of the season. Now that the cold has begun, do not resist having a wide collection. After all, in the coming months, sweaters will be your favorite garments.
