The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) and Euphoria director Sam Levinson co-created this new HBO series, which promises to feature the dark tone of the acclaimed series, as well as a world filled with drugs, sex, and excess. What is the plot of The Idol series?

The Idol is the title of this new series, which will follow a teenage pop singer (Lily-Rose Depp) who falls in love with the owner of a Las Vegas club who is also the leader of a cult (Tesfaye).

The Idol received a special presentation at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival before to its premiere.
