Isn’t it just a matter of time? Realme recently unveiled its own version of Apple’s MagSafe charging technology, and Oppo has now followed suit. According to GSMArena, Oppo showed out similar technology during the Smart China Expo 2021.
MagVOOC is Oppo’s magnetic charging system, which also featured a few items. A 40W charger, a 20W charger, and a power bank are among the items.
The manufacturer claims that the MagVOOC charging stand can charge enabled devices at a rate of 40W. It can charge older Oppo phones at 30W. The charger stand is Qi-enabled and can charge without MagVOOC, although with a lower capacity of 15W.
The 20W MagVOOC charger, which is less powerful yet portable, is the second MagSafe-like product. It also supports Qi-enabled charging at a rate of up to 10W.
The MagVOOC power bank, which has a capacity of 4500mAh, is the third product. It adheres to the Qi standard and can be used to charge smartwatches as well as TWS headphones. It has a USB-C port that can handle 10W of power.
Oppo has not stated when these devices would be available for purchase. We also have no idea how much these things will cost. Oppo has also not specified which smartphones will be compatible with MagVOOC.
Realme was the first manufacturer to add support for magnetic wireless charging to Android phones earlier this month. Realme MagDart is similar to Apple’s MagSafe system, which is compatible with the iPhone 12 series.
To demonstrate the MagDart technology, Realme has released a number of items. There are two types of MagDart chargers, a power bank, a wallet, a beauty light, and a case in the MagDart lineup. Realme has also been tight-lipped about the goods’ release date, pricing, or even regional availability.
